- How do I buy tickets?
- Tickets and passes are sold online through our ticketing platform — use the Get Tickets button anywhere on this site. General admission is $20 per film program, a limited number of weekend passes are $50, and Sunday's Queer Creatives Networking Brunch is $10.
- Is anything free?
- Yes. Saturday night's Pride In Local Music showcase and the Queer artist & artisan marketplace at Drinks Backyard are free and open to the public — no ticket required.
- What does a weekend pass cover?
- The $50 pass includes one ticket to each of the six film programs plus admission to Sunday's Queer Creatives Networking Brunch and breakfast taco buffet (beverages not included). Pass holders are welcome to join both red carpet receptions and Saturday evening's showcase, though food and beverage are not included. Pass holders reserve individual tickets for the screenings they plan to attend and receive instructions after purchase; no additional brunch ticket is needed, and box office volunteers confirm your pass at check-in. Passes are strictly limited.
- How much is the Sunday networking brunch?
- Admission is $10 on the Hotel Indigo pool deck from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, which helps cover the breakfast taco buffet. The bar is open for mimosas, cocktails and other beverages to purchase, and your ticket doubles as a guest pass for the day at the pool — come in your swimwear or change in one of the second-floor restrooms adjacent to the pool deck.
- How does seating work, and what if I'm late?
- All seating is general admission at every event, so you can sit with your friends and guests. Arrive at Galaxy Theatres at least 20 minutes before the program to ensure a seat. Paid ticket holders must be seated 10 minutes prior to the program to guarantee their seat, and unused seats are released to standby guests in the event of a sell out. All sales are final, even for late arrivals when seats are no longer available.
- Do the films have Q&As?
- Filmmakers and some film subjects will be attending this year's festival. Consult the individual film pages for notes on who is expected to attend. There will also be a community conversation following the screening of The Dads moderated by local Queer Filmmaker, Activist and Advocate Fiona Dawson. Fiona also works for the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce and the Texas Competes program for Equality Texas. All guests are subject to change without notice.
- What should I expect at the red carpet receptions?
- Thursday's reception begins at 6:00 PM and Sunday's at 5:00 PM, both in the Galaxy Theatres Austin lobby, with filmmakers, guests and photos before the programs begin.
- Are the films age restricted?
- Programs are intended for adult audiences and some contain mature language, sexual content or difficult subject matter. Individual screening advisories are posted at agliff.org.
- Is the weekend accessible?
- Galaxy Theatres Austin is wheelchair accessible with accessible seating and restrooms, and Drinks Backyard is a ground-level outdoor venue. If you need specific accommodations, closed captioning or seating assistance, contact us in advance and we'll make arrangements.
- Where do I park?
- Parking is free at most venues: Galaxy Theatres has free on-site parking off Middle Fiskville Road and Drinks Backyard has a large lot. Valet parking is available at Hotel Indigo for an additional fee, and street parking downtown is free on Sundays with first come, first served spots around the hotel. For downtown venues including Rain on 4th and Hotel Indigo, CapMetro buslines or rideshare are recommended.
- Can I sell my art at the marketplace?
- The Queer artist and artisan marketplace is curated by the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce. Reach out through the contact page to ask about vendor availability.
- Is the Saturday showcase family friendly?
- Drinks Backyard is an outdoor, all-ages-welcome venue with a bar; the drag hosting is club-style comedy. Attendees under 21 should come with an adult.
