The annual Pride In Local Music Showcase, presented by the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce and SXSW Music and produced by OutLaw Pride. The event is hosted by Maxine LaQueene & friends. Performers include Steph Cash, Maru Haru, Painterly, and headliner Melissa Carper with her full band. The night concludes with a breakdance performance and retro DJ set by Gabriel “Bboy Wicket” Jaochico — the subject of the next evening's Closing Night Film at Galaxy Theatres. Free and open to the public.

Downtown Austin — ends near Hotel Indigo

A scenic 3–4 mile casual walk through downtown Austin, partnering LGBTQ+ Outdoors with StartOut, Austin Front Runners, OutWellness and The Big Queer Weekend to bring together LGBTQ+ and allied founders, leaders and community members for a morning of movement and networking. The walk finishes near Hotel Indigo just in time to transition into the Big Queer Creatives Networking Brunch — everyone who walks is invited to the brunch at no additional charge (a $10 suggested donation benefits aGLIFF and the full weekend of events; a minimum $1.00 donation plus fees RSVPs you through Eventbrite, and your generosity is greatly appreciated). A $10 registration fee for the walk is collected separately through LGBTQ+ Outdoors.

Hotel Indigo — Pool Deck, Downtown Austin

A casual networking mixer on the pool deck with a breakfast taco buffet. There is a suggested donation of $10 for the event — donations benefit aGLIFF, Austin's LGBTQ+ Film Festival and help defray the cost of the entire weekend of events. A minimum $1.00 donation plus fees is required to RSVP through Eventbrite, and your generosity is greatly appreciated. The bar is open for mimosas, cocktails and other beverages to purchase, and your RSVP also acts as a guest pass for the pool. Local filmmakers, musicians and artists are invited to mingle with the weekend's guests.
