For nearly four decades, aGLIFF has created a place in Austin for LGBTQ+ stories to be seen, celebrated and shared. As Austin’s longest-running film festival prepares to celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2027, we need your help carrying that legacy forward.
aGLIFF has secured another year of support from the Texas Commission on the Arts, but that funding comes with an important requirement: we must raise $10,000 in matching funds from our community.
Your gift helps unlock critical grant funding that allows aGLIFF to bring independent queer films and filmmakers to Austin, elevate voices too often left out of mainstream storytelling, and create spaces like The Big Queer Weekend where artists and audiences can find one another.

What a film ticket includes
Each $20 general admission ticket covers one film program of your choice — including the accompanying short film and the post-screening Q&A or community conversation. Individual tickets are selected for a specific film and are not transferable to other films.

Sunday's networking brunch
The Queer Creatives Networking Brunch on the Hotel Indigo pool deck works on a suggested donation of $10. Donations benefit aGLIFF, Austin's LGBTQ+ Film Festival and help defray the cost of the entire weekend of events — your generosity is greatly appreciated. A minimum $1.00 donation plus fees is required to RSVP through Eventbrite. The bar is open for mimosas, cocktails and other beverages, and your RSVP also acts as a guest pass for the day at the pool — come in your swimwear or change in one of the second-floor restrooms next to the pool deck. Weekend pass holders are already included and do not need to RSVP separately; box office volunteers will confirm your pass at check-in.
Seating, arrival & standby
All seating is general admission at every event, so pass holders and ticket buyers can sit together with friends and guests. We recommend arriving at Galaxy Theatres at least 20 minutes before the program starts to ensure a seat. Paid ticket holders must be seated 10 minutes prior to the program to guarantee their seat, and unused seats are released to standby guests in the event of a sell out. All sales are final, including late arrivals when seats are no longer available.
Red carpet receptions
Thursday's 6:00 PM and Sunday's 5:00 PM red carpet receptions in the Galaxy Theatres lobby are open to that evening's ticket holders and weekend pass holders. Beer, wine and other options are available for purchase at concessions.
Saturday night is free
The Pride In Local Music showcase and Queer artist & artisan marketplace at Drinks Backyard are free and open to the public. This event is ASL accessible. Amber G Productions will provide ASL interpreters. Bring cash and cards for makers and the bar.
