The pocket-sized Austin landmark that turned a plain traffic median into a rotating, art-adorned public wonder.

BEPI Park — named for the Baylor, Enfield and Parkway Intersection — is Austin's tiniest 'park': an art-adorned traffic median and pedestrian island founded by local resident and lawyer Gary Schumann.

What began as a plain city median became an evolving miniature art installation with rotating themes, tiny fountains, sculptures and a beloved recycled 'traffic troll.' Margaret Barry's short documentary follows the neighbors who keep it strange and joyful, after festival stops including the San Antonio Film Festival.
